Who We Are
The Montana Operating Engineers and Associated General Contractors Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (AGC & JATC), also known as the Apprenticeship and Training Program, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is jointly sponsored by Local 400 of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) and their signatory contractors.
what is the jatc
The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) is responsible for governing the apprenticeship and training program. The JATC's goal is to provide the construction and mining industry with highly skilled and productive workforce of heavy equipment operators.
The JATC is composed of six (6) members: three (3) members representing the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 400 and three (3) contractor representatives. The JATC meets on a quarterly basis to conduct and review the Program's business.
